DRAGONFORCE are here! Cannot be ignored!

I HAVE WRITTEN A REVIEW FOR 2 OF THE ALBUMS (3 Albums in total) AND HOPE TO ADD THE THIRD PRODUCT TO CIAO SO CHECK THEM ALL OUT AND GET THE LOWDOWN ON THIS UK SPEED/POWER METAL BAND!!

They are just another breed of musician. We all know there are some great guitarists who can shred, MARK TREMONTI is my all time favourite and this guy can shred at amazing speed. He isn't really a power metal kinda guy with ballads from Creed and Alter Bridge and anthemic ARENA style rock he has his own style. If you get TREMONTI to shred at his preffered speed (unlike you've heard on any CREED/ALTER BRIDGE track) for 5 minutes (which he will do gladly) and then get his 'clone' to do the same, and now add a keyboard a backing riff at the same speed, your getting there.

But in the SPEED METAL, POWER METAL category, no one has done it like Li & Totman (DF). If you like Metal Hammer then you should have already bought these albums. Not only do the guitarist kick the preverbial ass but the keyboard, bass and drummer are all on the same wavelength changing up from a melodic intro to a mind blowing chorus.

Some people find that they have cheesy songs but not one has stopped and ejected the CD (because they are hooked). The so-called cheese element is based on the idea that these guys wrote songs for RPG style games and movies where dragons and mythical wars are the main theme: DRAGONHEART for instance. But that is why these guys are so cool, they could sing about anything and the music will just pull you in.

With the average length in excess of 5-6 minutes (some are more 7-8 minutes) you will be satisfied with the content of these 8-9 track CDs.

In this album you will go from a brain haemoraging track like BLACK FIRE, to a more melodic (but by no means tame) STARFIRE song but at all times be drawn into the world of DRAGONFORCE.

All three albums combined will have you exhausted from all the headbanging and air-guitar!
(TRUE WITH ALL 3 ALDUMS!!)

Solos can go on for as long as a song... SEE SONIC FIRESTORM REVIEW.

RECOMMENDED TRACKS
2. Valley Of The Damned
3. Black Fire
5. Starfire
8. Evening Star
9. Heart Of A Dragon

**I realise this is like half the ALBUM, but get it and you'll see why!!

Any band would be happy to have solos this complex, DF have intros that have you moving your head in the most bizarre of ways.

GET THIS ALBUM AND ALL ITS SUCCESSORS and you can go crazy with them!

2nd Album: SONIC FIRESTORM
3rd Album: INHUMAN RAMPAGE

ANY QUESTIONS, JUST ASK. I AM HAPPY TO UPDATE!! :O)
