RUSH's last release, in 1996's was "Test For Echo".
Since then RUSH fans have waited eagerly for their next studio album. We had a SOLO album from Geddy Lee "My favourite Headache" which had a varied collection of songs, which I still listen too quite often.

Rush's forthcoming album "Vapor Trails" isn't due in
stores until 14th May, but there are enough samples out there to give a taste of the recorded songs.

As far as I understand it "One Little Victory" is going to be the single from this album. This track
exploded with so much force it could blow your stereo
system apart. Neil Peart really goes to town on this one.
"Peaceable Kingdom" is quite melodic with a very good
bassline.

As this point in time I cannot comment on all the songs but the samples I have heard indicate that the songs are very punchy and quite aggressive in places. I will do a more details song analyses when I get this album.

RUSH will be touring the US in a couple of months, a shame that they have not included any UK dates. Here is the tour dates for the US.
Rumour has it that they will resurrect some of the old songs for these tours.
