Advantages: Great insight to how Islam became, via the prophet Muhammad (PBUH) Disadvantages: Lots of violence (true story of what really happened)
Directed by Moustapha Akkad, 1976, this is a thrilling movie based on the true story of the life of the prophet Muhammad Peace be upon him (PBUH).
I watched this movie a few days ago, never heard of it before, but once I watched it, I realised how much I enjoyed the movie, definitely one of the best I have ever seen. Packed with the whole truth of how the prophet Muhammad (PBUH) delivered the message of God and slowly built a huge population of people who believed him and followed the path of Islam.
The film contains very disturbing scenes of the true violence which the people of Makkah and Madina had to face from people who were against the prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and were against Islam.

Advantages: A GOOD FILM WITH A GREAT STORYLINE. Disadvantages: TO SLOPPY FOR MEN PERHAPS
.
This is a super movie, probably a chick flick but not a pointless one. It's one that shows the strengths and weaknesses of love, the way in which love is sometimes hard to let go of, and how human beings falter when moving on. To me, it was 101 minutes well spent, and I know I shall watch it again.
Humbug, I hear males less sentimental than me saying. Well, they are wrong. It's a story of morality, with enough hot stuff in it to be classed 13 Parent Guided, but not so much that one could call it smut.

Well, you will have to watch it to see that, but it is a worthwhile one. Even tempted now to write my message in a bottle, throw it over the cliffs and see where it takes my ...
Advantages: It's free saves your fingers and it's easy peasy Disadvantages: you will send silly messages to yourself
Have you looked at your mobile phone bill lately? Have you? Or like me, have you hidden it under the sofa? Go on have a look. Are you too spending the budget of a small banana republic on text messages?
The Horror

I'm on Orange everyday 50, which is a pretty fair talk plan, I recon. I get my 50 minutes off peak calls free to landlines and to other Orange phones, which is a blessed relief on the bill. But the text messages, all those little 10 pence's add up. My May to June bill shows that I made 149 text messages, that's £14.90 alone. Just for the likes of "Are you coming down the pub?" and "Have you bathed the dog?" or even "Can you pass the salt?" Whatever you text it may be time to tighten your purse strings and start to budget your messaging.
