It's a pity this was a double CD or that a second release wasn't quickly followed up. Nonetheless the album does have a good collection of songs, started off by the "We used to be friends" opening credits of Season One and Two.
If you're a fan of Veronica Mars I'm pretty much certain your like this CD, The track contains the following;
1. We Used To Be Friends (theme song) - The Dandy Warhols 2. I Hear The Bells - Mike Doughty 3. I Know I Know I Know - Tegan & Sara 4. I Turn My Camera On - Spoon 5. No Sleep Tonight - The Faders 6. The 3 stand out songs have to be because of the scenes at the time and they are what sold it to me; Track 1, theme tune, Track8, Veronica and Duncan getting back together an amazing scene and; Track 10, a really touching and dramatic episode an issue that is all to often ignored powerful stuff.
Album Notes: This musical backdrop to the TV show about a teenage girl detective in a small California beach town that's hiding several seasons' worth of deep, dark secrets contains a wealth of catchy alternative pop, including Ivy's breathy, ethereal "Ocean City Girl, " Welsh rockers Stereophonics' soaring "Dakota," and the Dandy Warhols' archly infectious "We Used to Be Friends."
