About John5. Former guitarist for Marilyn Manson, current guitarists for Rob Zombie. He even played for Avril Lavigne. Does it get any better. It certainly does. He comes out beneath the shadows and reveals his true guitar potential from simple and heavy riffs come speed shred guitar. Some would think it would be like every other rock shredder but it isn't, its a great mix of hard rock, techno and guess what? Even country. Who would have guessed that from under all that make up there is a talented young county player. When you think of Country players you think of old men with hats & a straw in there mouth. But it is the 21st Century so you never know what might happen. From start to finish the album is emaculate, to good to describe. Well acually its pretty simple, hard rock and country mixed into one. Simple and effective! (but the guitar ain't simple its mindblowing)_
Now about the CD Tracks 1. Needles, CA - 2. Feisty Cadavers 3. Pulling Strings 4. Sugar Foot Rag 5. Dead Man's Dream 6. Sweet Georgia Brown 7. Flatlines, Thinlines 8. Liberty 9. Vertigo 10. 18969 Ventura Blvd 11. Zugg Island Convict 12. Salt Creek 13. Goodnight

How helpful would this review be to a person making a buying decision? Rating guidelines
This is a brilliant CD, John5 is one of the most underrated guitarists of today. I thought your review could have done with being a bit longer, but you highlighted some of the great features of this CD that I would agree with so I went for helpful.
