If you would have to score a cd of 10CC, make it this retrospective album of the band. Quite a definitive compilation - it includes the very first incarnation of the four members of this band as Hotlegs w/ their single "Neanderthal Man", up to the two remaining members Stewart and Gouldman's final schtick as 10CC w/ the single "Dreadlock Holiday" from the BLOODY TOURISTS album; + this also contains the other half of the band playing as Godley&Creme, w/ their songs "Under Your Thumb", and the mtv overkilled "Cry".

The cd also features the full album version of their top 10 hit "I'm Not In Love" from THE ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACK lp, and also from that same album, is their own take on rock opera -the comedic "Une Nuit A Paris (Parts 1 to 3)". Filled with humour on the most of their tracks- at times the band seem to even resemble some coincidental similarities with the other (and my fave'rite) art-rock band SUPERTRAMP in their songs' sound and lyrics.

This cd contains the whole set of their familliar/not-so familliar tracks (at least to the non-10CC fan listener) - such as: "Rubber Bullets", "The Dean And I", the cheesy track "Donna" (their first single as 10cc), "The Wall Street Shuffle", "Life Is a Minestrone" (w/c's funny w/ its reference to Minnie Mouse and the Pope), "I'm Mandy Fly Me" (that perhaps carry one of the best guitar interludes ever recorded), and one of their greatest songs ever "The Things We Do For Love".

The cd's booklet have a brief narrative on 10cc's history by Chris White, and along are the indications of chart position(s) for each track plus their discography.
So if you are a non-fan of 10CC but would like to have them on your file collection - this is the one cd to take. For fans however, it is advisable that they should score the entire catalog of the band, as the same case goes for fans of other recording artists as well...

End Note: 10CC is one of those bands that bears the Pentagram in their band-name's logo, bearing similarity with such death & heavy-metal bands by the likes of SLAYER. =P
