...With three cds and over three hours of music, Pure Garage Platinum brings together the best sounds of the five preceding Pure Garage albums stretching back to 2000, whilst adding a few ‘new’ songs along the way. There are 50 tracks, presented on three black compact discs with futuristic silver and blue fonts, which match the colours on the box of the set itself. There is no specific feel to each disc but the third disc features the most new material. From the 50 tracks on the album, only of 13 them are new, so only 25% of the total. Having said that, the other 75% span five double-cd boxed sets so it is difficult to say whether it is worth buying. Advantages: 2 CDs - bought it cheap from ebay - lots of songs
Disadvantages: had most of the songs anyway!

...long!!....... anyway - overall i have to say that even though there are a few really good songs on this album - they are mainly really old songs and nothing new and fresh - i know it is a platinum collection but there aren't any of the classics of RnB that i would choose to put on a collection like this.. most of the song lyrics are lovey dovey which is good if you like that sort of thing but sometimes i think RnB should be more uplifting and not all about being in love & relationships.. i would not recommend anyone to buy this - u probably have all the songs anyway & even if you dont - they are not the best songs that the artists that are featured on this album have released.. thanks for reading - hope this review helped anyone who was thinkin of getting this.. Advantages: truely great collcetion of songs
Disadvantages: getting caught singing along

...A great set full of old favorites that you just love to sing along to doing the housework or in the car. Personal favorites include Bat out of hell by Meatloaf, China in you hand by T'Pau and We are tha champions by Queen. Play it loud and noone will be able to hear you singing with it. It includes classics and some modern stuff but all great songs. I love the way they have chosen a variety of different songs and put them together to make a truely fantastic collection. I dont think there is one song on here that i dont like. I have had this collection for a while and recomend it especially as a christmas pressent or just a treat for yourself. My dad loved the one i got him. Word of warning thou make sure your alone if you plan on singing , i gave people in the next car a good laugh when i was caught sining black velvet.... Read review
