might!).
"Rock-N-Roll is King", the final track on the album, sounds just like it is intended to - a 60's mix of rock'n'roll, jive and bopping. Made me tired just listening to it, but a great song to end on.
*** Any Extra Tracks on the Album? ***
No. What you see is what you get. A Total of 20 tracks but no extras such as hidden tracks, unreleased tracks and so on.
*** Album Cover and Presentation ***
Very bright and colourful is the best way to describe the album cover. The album itself is called "All Over The World" and the cover depicts a brightly lit red, yellow and blue spaceship/Frisbee speeding all over the world. A very typical style associated with ELO albums.
Inside the CD case, there is a pull-out booklet setting out the track list. In addition ...
Advantages: Very easy to listen to, very emotive messages between the lines, an all-time classic! Disadvantages: It could be seen as rather dated by certain age groups

ELO's "Time" album reached no.1 in the UK album charts in August 1981. Three singles were released from the album, the first of which was "Hold On Tight" reaching no.4 in August 1981, the second was "Twilight" which got to no.30 in October 1981, and the last was a double-A side, "Ticket To The Moon/Here Is The News", making no.24 in January 1982.
This album is performed and produced in what was considered a futuristic fashion, both in the area of electronically-generated music and sound-effects, and the words.
I have been searching the internet for various interpretations, hopefully accurate ones, on ELO's "Time" album, but have come across so very many conflicting views and reviews, that I feel I ought to ...

the verses. Beautiful ? one of my favourite songs of ELO.
Need Her Love *****
Again a very quiet opening with electronic sounds, keyboard and muted guitar builds up with gentle strings to a gentle romantic ballad.
The video superimposes pop art imagery and the ELO space ship symbol over the group?s performance.
The Diary Of Horace Wimp **
The introduction suggests Sparky?s magic piano meets Mantovani. Otherwise it is a jaunty enough upbeat number with little distinguishing features. This is not my favourite track on this album ? although a great many people disagreed with me and made it a hit single.
The accompanying cartoon animations are diverting.
Last Train To London ***
A good railway rhythm from the bass and drums pervades the backing of this track. Good swirling strings too.

Album Notes
After racking up a string of hits in the '70s and early '80s, E.L.O.'s cosmic take on the wall of sound has aged remarkably well and influenced countless rock and rollers from Tom Petty and the Smashing Pumpkins to Andrew W.K. and the Killers. THE VERY BEST OF THE ELECTRIC LIGHT ORCHESTRA VOL 2 - TICKET TO THE MOON is the sister set to 2005's ALL OVER THE WORLD: THE VERY BEST OF THE ELECTRIC LIGHT ORCHESTRA and taken together the discs are all the E.L.O. the casual fan will ever need. The collection boasts stand-out hits such as "Do Ya" and "Can't Get It Out of My Head," and many strong deep cuts, such as "Surrender" and the band's catchy rewrite of Iggy Pop's "The Passenger." If you've had enough of the hits from classic rock radio and are looking for a great introduction to less well-known E.L.O. material, TICKET TO THE MOON is a great diving off point.
Album Reviews
Record Collector (magazine) (p.82) - 4 stars out of 5 -- "'Last Train To London' has a disco bass beat, 'Destination Unknown' adds reggae to the mix, and 'Surrender' closes in dreamy harpsichord fashion."
