Advantages: Great Pop Punk Disadvantages: Been done before?
...Milton Keynes - best known for its concrete roundabouts and…cows. So a pretty fitting album title from the MK pop punk band that is Graveltrap. The town is home to many great bands such as Capdown, Odd Man Out, and Phema - and Graveltrap are no exception to the trend. They play neat Pop Punk with a distinct English sound and play it a lot better than most of their American counterparts. This four piece only have an average age of 19 yet already have a large fan base and it doesn't take a genius to see why. Graveltrap are an extremely talented young band that play infectious pop punk that gets stuck in your head - getting you singing along and jumping around manically.
This twelve track album proves to be something special with pounding bass lines, loud guitar playing, fast drumming and awesome vocals. They have already had success...

Advantages: Captures the energy of Greenday live, includes all thier hits Disadvantages: few but If you dont like green day its not for you

Whilst reading the reviews on this site it became apparent that the majority of the reviewers were actually at one of the two Milton Keynes and this is definatly reflected in the way they review the DVD. However if you were not one of the lucky 120,000 people to see the show I think its important to have the opinions of other people in the same situation.
As you are probably well aware Green Day are now the biggest Punk band on the planet and one of the most popular music acts from any genre. Thier popularity has been bolstered by the critically acclaimed and multi-million selling...

...This album doesn't come anywhere near to being as great as "Civil Disobedience" or to seeing them live but it's still worth buying and a hugh improvement on "Pound For The Sound". It's more poppy and easier on the ears that their other releases, taking a bit of influence (so it seem to me) from bands like the Ordinary Boys. Capdown (for those who don't know them) are a 5-piece ska/punk/hardcore band from Milton Keynes that are slowly building up a fan base in the UK. This is their 1st album with new material on in about 6 years, so its been in the works for long enough.
This album is still very much political but with lots of whining about the music scene thrown in for good measure. The saxophone seems to have taken a back seat on this record and the new addition of a keyboardist seems to add nothing what so ever to the album except...
