...I stumbled across this in a new and used music shop and bought it just for the hell of it as I had heard some of this guys music before and liked what I'd heard.
Before I get on to what I like about this album, let me tell you about the artist himself.
RandyTravis was born 4th May 1959. In 1981 he moved to Nashville and began writing songs and getting to know the Country Music scene. In 1985 RandyTravis signed a contract with Warner Brother records and thus began his long and upstanding career; as well as being an accomplished artist he has also turned his hand at acting and appeared in the likes of Matlock, Touched By An Angel and Fire Down Below, to name but a few.

Advantages: Side, Flowers, The Cage Disadvantages: the album dies a death after track 8
...my words – and lyrically the best song Fran has written yet. Ever. A philosophical number, slightly darker than the acoustic niceness of the rest of the album, it might just be Travis’s first ever number one. I’ve included the lyrics at the end of this review just to show you how good it is.

4. PIPE DREAMS
A likely choice for a future single, but once again it never really threatens to be described as anything other than ‘nice’. It is catchy, but in a rather too repetitive way. “I’d pray to god if there was heaven – but heaven seems so very far from here’ – the lyrics certainly aren’t bad, but it’s another song which only manages to sit on the boundary between average and good.

Advantages: Good upbeat live songs, loads of tracks Disadvantages: too explicit to play infront of young children etc
...the drinking or leave the band, but they had already decided that Travis Barker was to be his permanent replacement and has been with the band ever since. Scott went back to college to complete his education and has played in other bands since, though they are not quite as established as blink-182.
The band originally started out as blink, though the numbers '182' were added to the name after a copyright dispute with a lesser known Irish techno band of the same name. The band say that these numbers were random, though there are many rumours as to why this number was picked.
This album in my opinion is one of their best. Firstly, it is their only fully live album to date and was recorded during two live shows on the enema of the state tour, in California back in November 1999. It contains all the hits from the first three full blink-182 albums...
