Where do I begin with this review? How can I do justice to one of the best British comedy shows of all Time? As a child I can remember being glued to TV with my parents, rolling on the floor with laughter whenever it was screened (and these were just the repeats!). I was deeply saddened to learn that the genius that was Ronnie Barker had passed away, and I felt compelled to write a review as a small tribute to one of his most admiral pieces of work. The Two Ronnies have recently been voted the best comedy duo of all time, some might argue Morcombe and Wise are most deserved of this honour, but when you watch this retrospective DVD of the Two Ronnies Show, it is not hard to see why this is.

We booked the room online at www.Hilton.co.uk, Hilton guarantee that their best rates are available online. We booked a few months in advance and got a really good rate. Rates do change, at the moment double roms are £110 per night with guest room plus rooms £134. Because I boked well in advance i got a double plus room (gets a sea view, fluffy bath robes etc) for under £100. The Wbsite has info about the hotel including pictures of rooms etc
The hotel is relatively modern with lots of car parking. When we checked in Reception was busy but was very efficient. All the public areas of the hotel were spotlessly clean
On balance a hotel that I'm likely to stay at again. I stayed on a Sunday, arriving in time for Sunday lunch. The Restaurant, the Promenade, has a Carvery which was extremely good with starters of either soup or a help ...
