I bought this album recently as I remembered vaguely liking some of the songs at one point in time and although it is an enjoyable album I must admit to frequently using the skip button whilst listening to it.
This isn't because I think any of the songs are awful but because they are a bit blah, middle of the road songs. I generally skip track 7 - Strong Enough - it just doesn't hold my interest at all; track 8 - Light in your Eyes - again quite boring background noise; track 12 - C'mon, C'mon - it features the Corrs and is annoying, especially when it sticks in your head; tracks 16 and 17 are often not even listened to to be honest.
My favourite tracks are My Favourite Mistake - a bit rockier than usual and but still singalong; Run, Baby, Run - a bit different to her usual offerings; Picture featuring Kid Rock (who knew he had such a nice voice?) - I really love this song, I just think it's very well done; A change would do you good - upbeat and reminds me of being a teenager; There Goes the Neighbourhood - again just upbeat and singalong.
The other tracks such as All I wanna do and Everyday is a Winding road are enjoyable and just what you would expect from Sheryl Crow but just miss being favourites for me - perhaps due to overplay as they are her most popular songs?
I did enjoy this album but always keep the remote near me so I can skip the songs I don't like/can't be bothered with. I would say the album is worth having as I like roughly half of the songs and don't mind the rest but you would have to be a fan of some description to even contemplate owning it. I like it but my cats certainly don't - I'm not sure if this is a good or bad thing!

There was a 'True Hollywood Story' programme about her this afternoon - I quite like some of her stuff but she's one of those artists where you perhaps have to be in a really mellow mood to listen to it. Eleanor x

Advantages: If you like sheryl crow you know most of the songs Disadvantages: only a couple of new songs here - don't really think thats a disadvantage though
