    Advantages Advantages Some of the best songs from one of the greats of folk music, selected by the man himself

    Disadvantages Disadvantages There are better covers of some tracks and the banter is missing!

    Introduction and Background I am reviewing this CD because I have enjoyed Tom Paxton’s work for many years, but find that there are no previous reviews of his work. As he is still performing at the age of 75 plus, although not touring overseas so much these days, I feel it’s time to pay respect to his work. When an artist has a career as long as Paxton’s, it’s difficult to know how much to say so I shall attempt a brief summary to set the scene for the comments on the tracks that follow.
