Alone is the 8th album of ModernTalking and were released in February 1999 in Germany, one year after their reunification. I bought the CD at a price of app. 14,99 Euro at that time. Nowadays the CD is available in a price class about 7 Euro.
On the album you find familiar ModernTalking music best described as good and modern Discofox. There are even new experiments as ballads and even Thomas Anders composed four titles for the first time.

Back for good was released in Germany in 1998 and contains 18 tracks. At this time I purchased the CD for 20 Euro, nowadays you can get it much cheaper. Between 1987 and 1998 were 13 years of silence. In 1998 ModernTalking revived like the mysterious Phoenix bird from the ashes.
The 7th album was a real sensation, no better: it was an adorable bomb for the fans!! Complete new upgrades of their former songs from the Eighties combined with four new songs made the album an unforgettable hearing pleasure. The ModernTalking fever immediately returned after their revival and the album was rewarded with oodles of noble metal awards.

Advantages: Fantastically inventive 80s art-pop Disadvantages: A couple of weak tracks
...for as Gibson wrote in his basement he surrounded himself with Eno’s music. And so I suspect that Eno is the mastermind behind The Overload. This is another remarkable change in tone from the Talking Heads and like The Listening Wind another absolute victory, showing that when they want to that they can be remarkably varied. The Overload is slightly ambient; there are swirling guitar-loops ala Robert Fripp in ambient mood. A pulsing synthesizer that sounds like the buzz of electricity; Byrne’s vocals are slow, measured, mechanical. There is a sense of futurity. There is a definite correlation here between Eno/Talking Heads and King Crimson’s industrial instrumentals. The music mirrors technological, electrical, cyberpunkish themes and sounds.
