This CD is another good CD by Libera, and in my opinion this one is the best. It is definitely the best one that I have heard. I recently purchased this CD at about £10 or £11 from amazon.co.uk and have thoroughly enjoyed listening to the CD.
The CD contains 13 great tracks. These include the amazing tracks like: Locus Iste (based on Pachelbels Canon and contains the amazing Sanctus sung by them) Prayer Wings of a Dove (not the traditional version - a much better new version) New Day We are the Lost (based on the poem about Flanders Fields) Sing for Ever Abide with Me (a stunning version of this well known and well loved hmyn)
Also there are other good tracks like: Sempiterna Always with you Ave Maria Something sings These tracks being really good also are just slightly less good than those ones mentioned above.
And then there are the tracks: Libera Recordare which are just again slightly worse and would be the weak tracks on the CD. They are still pretty good though.
The cover of the CD is of a good standard. It is slightly mysterious but very well designed and contains the lyrics of all the songs sung on the CD, which is useful when they sing some of the Latin songs and it is difficult to actually make out what it is they are saying, especially if one does not know nay Latin. Compared to other CDs released by Libera, this one has to be the best in my opinion and is well worth the £11 that I spent on it.
How helpful would this review be to a person making a buying decision? Rating guidelines
Sorry for the low rating but you haven't really told us much about this other than listing the tracks. It's better to include lots of personal opinion such as which tracks you like and why. Try having a read around the site to gets some ideas of the type of content to include and how best to lay it out. You'll find the more you put into your reviews the better ratings you will get and more of them too. Hope this helps and if you need any other advice then give me a shout at my guestbook and I'll try my best to help. Belinda
