I bought one of these a couple of weeks ago for £49.99, mine was actually called a delonghi trevisio, but it is this machine.
A small neat expresso coffee machine, with milk steamer/frother, this little box of tricks made a perfect cappuccino straight from the box.
I have to admit I was a little sceptical - I had been expecting to only be able to buy a steam action (3 - 4 bar pressure) machine for my budget - which was £75, so was delighted to find this pump action at an affordable price, but did wonder what would be skimped on to make it affordable.
The difference in the two actions is the quality of the expresso and more particulary the crema on the expresso (the frothy bit!!). I have to say I was not overly impressed with the first couple of expresso's i made. However I invested in a coffee pod adaptor for the BAR14 ...
.Nevertheless I clicked on it and soon learned that TCHIBO is a long establised German company who specialise and trade in coffee - having a number of coffee shops throughout the continent. A European Starbucks! (I'd never heard of them!). For a coffee specialist what surprised me most was the limited range of coffee for sale. Basically there were two options Mild or full strength...available as grounds for use in filter machines or instant. Ground coffee was £2.29 for full strength (250g)the mild being a couple of pence cheaper! Instant cost £1.80 (100g)full strength,again mild was a couple of pence cheaper! I opted for one of each in the full strength. So I got out my faithful mastercard and submitted my order. The order was proccessed quickly and smoothly and I received an email almost instantly from them to tell me that all was well

Advantages: Orange, fresh fragrance. Price. It's popular with the whole family. Disadvantages: A Tesco 'Only ' product.
I had become keen on the idea of having a handwash in the kitchen, as being the room where food is prepared; obviously keeping my hands clean is a top priority. In the past I?ve used a bar of soap on a saucer, but quite often this has turned into a magnet for muck and germs, which defeated the whole object really. So having a convenient and hygienic method for keeping my hands clean, made a lot of sense to me.
A little over two weeks ago, I came across Tesco?s ?WakeUp? orange handwash, which initially caught my eye, due to its bright orange colour, and attractive packaging. Priced at £1.09 for 300ml, which I didn?t think seemed too bad; I decided there and then to give it a go. I?ve always been fond of citrus smells, as I think they convey an added freshness, and always remind me of summer.

The Cranberries: Dolores O'Riordan (vocals, guitar, keyboards); Nigel Hogan (acoustic & electric guitars); Mike Hogan (bass); Fergal Lawler (drums, percussion). Recorded at Windmill Lane, Dublin, Ireland. U.K. edition adds three songs. The Cranberries may have changed labels for the first time in a decade, but they've chosen to go back down a familiar path on their fifth album WAKE UP AND SMELL THE COFFEE. Reuniting with Stephen Street (who produced the band's first two albums), this Irish quartet returns to the distinctive alt-pop sound of early records like EVERYBODY ELSE IS DOING IT, SO WHY CAN'T WE and NO NEED TO ARGUE. Frontwoman Dolores O'Riordan still possesses the same crystalline phrasing that makes her sound like Sinead O'Connor's little sister, particularly on the delicate lullaby "Chocolate Brown" and the atmospheric "Pretty Eyes." Guitarist Noel Hogan is also in fine form as he slashes and burns his way through "This Is The Day," gilds the dream-pop "Every Morning" with shimmering slide guitar, and significantly ups the jangle quotient on the Smiths-like "Do You Know." The birth of second children for both O'Riordan and Hogan also finds some of the songwriting touching on social issues like global warming and nuclear threats (the soaring "Time Is Ticking Out") as well as more personal ones like the steady corruption of a soul (a melancholy "Dying Inside"). A welcome return from one of Ireland's musical treasures.
