The Wall is possibly the best known of Pink Floyd's many albums over the decades, especially because of the accompanying film starring Bob Geldof as the notoriously insane pop star who shaves off his eyebrows ! The track Another Brick in the Wall was also a huge hit single, staying at Number 1 in the charts for several weeks. Personally, my favourite song on this album is the lesser known Comfortably Numb, which is also my favourite song of all time - it is beautiful, with breath-taking lyrics & a gorgeous tune. As always, this album is a COMPLETE album, not just a series of tracks, but blending in to each other to make an entire piece of work, rather than a collection of individual songs. Beautiful.
