Advantages: Classic Hip Hop Disadvantages: A couple of the tunes are a little weak
"Radio" is the debut release from LL Cool J, a rapper who has stuck with his record label, Def Jam since its creation a year before this album came out. LL's 1985 record came 23 years before his latest release "Exit 13" which recently came out, and so clearly this one shows how long he's been in the game, and the progression he has made. Upon release, Ladies Love Cool James (LL Cool J), the MC was only 17 years old, and had shown strong potential, which he clearly lived up to.
1. "I Can't Live Without My Radio"
The track which the album is named after is the one to get things started for this album as you have LL Cool J come on some hard Rick Rubin beats about how his life revolves around his radio, and the music which it plays for him. Thsi is a powerful way to kick it all off, and you are bound to enjoy it.

Advantages: great place to eat Disadvantages: slow service
side. The staff, although very friendly, did seem a little inexperienced. This did not really matter to us as we were out for a leisurely evening but would be a consideration if you had somewhere to go on to afterwards.
We could have chosen a dessert from the dessert menu had we wished but all of our main meals were enough so we did not feel the need. We did finish off with either coffee or tea and they did offer a good few options to cater for every taste.
Overall I would say that the Walter Arms is a good place to go for a meal out especially if you like to take things at your leisure. They provide a pleasant atmosphere, good food and at reasonable prices too. Splitting the bill and leaving a tip cost each of us less than £20 including our drinks so it really was not an expensive night out at all! ...
Advantages: Fantastic songs, 2 hour DVD Disadvantages: lyrics hard to read and incorrect
and torn apart' and 'bury me with my guitar and all the way to hell I'll play'.
Not only does this album have a CD, but a 2 hour DVD of McFly making and promoting Radio:ACTIVE. It's funny, informative and a great watch. Includes footage of McFly surfing in Australia, discussing ideas on the 'Lies' video, visiting Canada to record the 'One For The Radio' video and live performances from Australia and the Itunes Festival.
The album art for this deluxe album is great. There are good pictures of all 4 members, plus great use of the hand drawn microphone-with-tongue logo. The McFly logo also glows in the dark!
The album booklet contains 32 pages filled with photos, thank yous and lyrics. The lyrics are quite small and are wrong in places as they are scans of McFly's personal lyric writing pages. This is good in a way, but it would have ...
