Advantages: Great tracks, great lyrics, original, its Bob Marley. Disadvantages: They only include one extra track. No need for remastering. Its too short.
...This is Bob Marley's third album on the Tuff Gong label and has been digitally remastered and made up to ten tracks with the addition of ‘Am-A-Do’, a track that fans might recognise from the ‘Talkin’ Blues’ album. Natty Dread is the first album to be released after the original the ‘Wailers’ split, leaving Bob to form partnerships with his three backing singers the I-Threes. Released in 1974 after former band members Bunny Wailer and PeterTosh had left, the album was supported by the Natty Dread Tour of USA, Canada and England, including dates at the famous Roxy Theatre in LA and the Lyceum in London.
Natty Dread is a change from the previous ‘Burnin’ and ‘Catch A Fire’ albums with a few lighter tracks to make you smile. Maybe not as groundbreaking as Catch A Fire, the album does contain the studio version of the all time hit ‘No...

Advantages: Great if you love Bob Marley Disadvantages: Some good songs absent
...PeterTosh is probably best known as a founding member of 'The Wailers'. A typical Jamaican kid who dreamed of Reggae stardom and found sucess after meeting Bob Marley and the other founding members of the band. I'm not a huge expert on the man so if you want more details look else where, but I thought as noone else had done a review of him I should write something.

The album starts with a great cover of Chuck Berry's Johnny B Goode probably his most successful chart hit. After that follows the usual supply of anti-war and pro-cannabis songs. The man's quality shines throughout the album proving himself not just as an excellent singer/lyricist but also a talanted guitarist to boot....

Advantages: It's Peter Gabriel Disadvantages: None come to mind
..., in your eyes, all the fruitless searches Oh I see the light and the heat oh I want to be that complete” I love this line, wish I could find someone that made me feel that way.
This version of “So” was re-mastered by Tony Cousins who did a similar excellent renovation to whole of Peter Gabriel’s solo back catalogue in 2002. The following year the whole collection was re-issued again in SACD form I can’t comment on that issue, as I have not heard any of them.
For me this is still Peter Gabriel’s most complete album, with the release of this version he has put out the album as he originally wanted too because of the limits of vinyl the running had to be changed to the following: -
Vinyl
Side 1
Red rain
Sledgehammer
Don’t Give Up
That voice Again
Side 2
In your eyes
Mercy Street
Big Time...
