As I am writing this opinion, the album is playing from my PC speakers. At high volume, it is annoying my old-middle aged neighbours severely. I love it!

Advantages: Features Dr Dre Disadvantages: A couple of not-so-good tracks.
As I am writing this opinion, the album is playing from my PC speakers. At high volume, it is annoying my old-middle aged neighbours severely. I love it!
I was originally introduced to Cube's music while listening to NWA. After a several years without it crossing my mind, I saw the film Friday, which features Cube in the film as well as on the soundtrack. Then I decided to buy this album, and I was certainly not disappointed.
I have had the album ... ...it. I have bought several hip-hop albums recently including Dr Dre and Cypress Hill, and this is one that I can keep listening to and not get bored. It does not have as many inserts as 2001 by Dre, and the tracks are consistently good.
The first track features MC Ren and Dre, so it seems to be a partial NWA reunion. The second track is a very amusing insert called "Pimp Homeo", a gangsta-style send-up of "Romeo and Juliet".
There are, however, ...

...& Peace Vol. 1 (The War Disk)' I decided to check out the second installment. This disk is as good as, if not better than the first one. The best tune on the album is 'Hello', the collaboration with two of hip-hops greatest (Cube's friend's from back in the days of N.W.A) Dr Dre & MC Ren. This excellent tune shows Cube's skills lyrically and the beat is class.
Other highlights of the album include 'You aint gotta lie', 'Until we rich' and 'You can ...

hmmm... it's ok Review ofWar And Peace Vol.2 [PA] - Ice Cubeby

Ice Cube, very tallented indeed always has a way with words doesn't he? But he knows how to rap for sure. I think this album could have done without all those awful inserts. Cube comes across as telling us all something in one song ie. 'Waitin' ta hate' and then contadicting himself in 'Until we rich'. Having seen cube in the movie 'Three Kings' recently I would say he is better acting than singing. I think this album is ok well quite good but it ... ...bounce' is my fav song with 'Gotta be insanity' coming in second place. Although you get 18 tracks 4 of these are 30 second inserts with I think ruin an otherwise great album. I say if you really like Cube you need to buy this album lets face it but if you don't, consider your options. ...

Bag of Ice Review ofWar And Peace Vol.2 [PA] - Ice Cubeby
EddM
Advantages: One or two good songs Disadvantages: To expensive, more bad songs, horrible pop showing its dirty head
Ice Cube is a very talented man. Three kings, multi CDS and albums, singles and close connections with Dre, Snoop, Ezey-E and the rest of NWA. Although like a lot of East Side rappers he has started to cross that deadly line from Rap to Pop. So, he has some good tracks and some graet tracks. But Pimphomie-o, no thank you, as Dres Pause 4 Porno is awfull on 2001 so is this. It is a shame that more people don't know about his shit or listen to him, ... ...is going, he may end up getting phased out like House of Pain. All I am saying is its not really worth buying this for whats on it, if you want Cube then go back to the good ol' days of the Niggers with attitude (NWA for those who don't know shit) ...
