WHAT IS IT?
The Jazz is Honda's entry into the highly contested and ever popular "supermini" market. It is a five door hatchback, a very simple range to choose from as there are no variants; saloon, convertible etc, all Jazz models therefore share the same "two box" styling. For those of you to whom it may be important, the dimensions are as follows:
Length 3845mm x Width 1878mm x Height 1525mm.
It is therefore a fairly short, yet wide and tall small car, having a tardis affect inside where it seems much larger than you would think looking at the car sitting next to the pavement.

Advantages: space, comfort, flexibility, fuel economy Disadvantages: absolutely none for me
Having endured a horrifying M5 breakdown in my 5 year old Escort not long ago, I decided the time was right for a new car. And I wanted brand new, in the hope that I would be guaranteed a few years trouble-free motoring (and hopefully no sudden expenses) with a good warranty and some peace of mind.
In my new car, I wanted the following features:
Light and easy to drive
Comfortable seating and leg room in the back
Fuel economy
A good sounding stereo
Affordable insurance
Quiet and reasonably powerful engine
Safety
Good looks
Flexibility (i.e. can take large packages/suitcases etc when necessary)
A make with a strong reputation for reliability
Extra gizmos
Under (preferably considerably under) £10,000
A lot to ask? Yes, but then along came the Honda Jazz?

Warner Village.
The Warner Village is part of a new leisure complex situated at the top of Leith Walk in Edinburgh. Initial impressions were not favourable, I tried to book over the net, but the website was down. Phoning the call centre was no better as the operator was obviously relying on the same database so was unable to take my booking. i would have to rely on the horror show that is the telephone menu system. Unbelievably when I arrived at the cinema and inserted my far from flexible friend into R2D2's cousin, I found that they had got all my booking details correct. Hurray things were looking up at last and I hurried into the cinema looking forward to seeing Pierce Brosnan doing his latest Shir Shean Impression.
