A friend got me into the Black Crowes last November, and since then I have become hooked! Having spent the last few months becoming acquainted with their back catalogue I was really excited that they had a new studio album in the offing.
The album does not disappoint, and the Crowes sound at their best, with great lyrics, vocals, and excellent guitar playing from new guitarist Luther Dickinson.
I also had the pleasure of seeing them play at Brixton Academy on April 9th and they absolutely blew my mind - easily the best gig i've been to! The new songs sounded amazing along with the old classics.
Definitely worth checking this one out if you are a Black Crowes fan or not. If you like good rock n roll this is for you!
