..."Dr. Beckmann Service-it" is a liquid washing machine cleaner that claims to "clean, freshen and maintain against breakdowns and malfunctions". The makers recommend that it be used every 3 months (or 40 washes) in order to rid your washing machine drum, pipes, seals, etc. of any build-up of detergent residue and grime. Also, by cleaning, to dispel any odours, and maintain efficiency by eliminating any build-up of limescale on the heating elements. ...If your Like me and don’t like paying £6 to get you car gleaming and clean, then this product is a good idea. The Karcher K090 Pressure Washer helps me easily get my car in the sparkling condition I like it easily and cheaply. Fare enough you have to put the extra time in cleaning but if you do it your self then you know what standard it will be done to and take pride in the finished article. I have an issue with the mechanical brush drive through washers I don’t believe they can do your paint work any good at all, have you seen the bristles on the spinner brushes, they are nylon and spin at a far rate, I am sure this can ware down your paint after a while. Plus I don’t feel comfortable at the end when the blower starts it always looks like it won’t move out of the way will brake the screen come... Read review

...The title is of course a suggestion from my 18 month old :o) I recently went for some three weeks without a washing machine and had to make countless trips to the local laundrette with my lad in tow. Much to the laundrette lady's disgust I could hardly strap my son in his pushchair for hours at a time so he took great pleasure in examining the washing machines up close and deciding what it is they do; he even got to wash his cookie monster. He has since taken a great interest in the washing machine at home and was seizing every available opportunity to "wash" his things (be they his cookie monster, dirty socks or half full cup of milk). So when I had to go to Toys R Us recently to purchase a second stair gate (he's figured out how to open his bedroom door - at 5am), I decided to look for a little washing machine all of his own...
