Fifi and the flowertots - Fifi's talent show, was one of my daughters favourite dvds, she became aquainted with the flowertots on channel fours, childrens morning television show, Milkshake.
Fifi Forgetmenot ( voiced by Jane Horrocks, as in Ab fab fame), is the main character and along with her friends (Violet,Primrose and Bumble the bee) live in forgetmenot garden.
Also in the programme is Slugsy ( the slug!!!) and Stingo (the wasp!!), quite self explainitary really isn't it!!!!!. Slugsy is usually well behaved, but seems to be lead astray by the very naughty wasp, Stingo!!

Advantages: easy to use and very sturdy, bright and colourful screen, handy to travel with Disadvantages: the music can get a bit annoying after a while, there needs to be a different tune
Fife and the Flowertots Musical TV is a nice buy as it's the kind of toy that your child can play with while out and about say travelling as it's very light, sturdy and secure. It's very easy to use with just the push of the button the colourful fifi and the flowertots screen appears moving anticlockwise showing all the different images from the ever so popular Fifi and the flower tots TV programme.
My daughter has had this item now since she was 1 years old and she is now 3 years and still plays with it at times when she fancies a change of toy. She has always found it easy to use for her to push the button even though she has little fingers. The screen is very bright and interesting to watch. , so there are plenty of opportunities to watch it throughout the day too. It is about a young flower called Fifi Forget-Me-Not and her adventures with her friends in Flowertot Garden. The inhabitants of the garden range from other flowers (Violet, Primrose and Poppy), garden animals (Bumble the Bee, Stingo the wasp and Slugsy) and a few others too. The characters are all bright and friendly, and the ten minute long episodes are always enjoyable and fun stories for toddlers to enjoy.
The DVD contains 5 episodes at 10 minutes each, so there should be plenty on there for your child to enjoy. There are a couple of extras on the DVD too, a racing game and 2 sing-along songs but Harry isn't remotely interested in these so we haven't bothered with them!
