Union City Blues!

Advantages: It's brave and a good introduction to Erasure
Disadvantages: It's pointless if you already know the band

The new album by Erasure 'Union Street'(their 14th!) is a bit of an enigma, which makes me wonder if the duo have finally run out of ideas, or didn't want to waste them on us. However for the uninitiated this acoustic (yes pop-pickers you heard me correctly 'ACOUSTIC') album strips down the songs to their bare bones and lets out some of the soul as a sample of what they are capable of. Just as the band had recaptured some of the form of its 90s heyday with Erasure's return to electro pop heaven, ('Nightbird') Vince Clark and Andy Bell have gone all acoustic on us, just as the Pet Shop Boys recently did, before going back to their synths. The Sweatshop - No sweating involved!

Advantages: Very good service, wide product range, competitive prices
Disadvantages: Not very many stores

specialist shops will charge you more than a high street sport shop, but this price was competitive and in line with what JJB or somewhere else would charge. I was asked if I wanted to join the mailing list but I decided that if I wanted to I could do it on their website. So after paying, I left with a pair of trainers that I was happy with and that I felt were really suited to me. Other products sold: Sweatshop had a good range of trainers for juniors, females and males and also had a wide range of other sportswear - everything from socks to shorts to hats. They also sold gadgets like heart rate monitors and Garmins, as well as water bottles, energy drinks and every other thing you could think of to do with walking, running and sports! The prices of these products were in line with other sports shops and they seemed to have quite a good ...

HAMBURGER UNION GARRICK STREET LONDON

Advantages: FAST EFFICIENT SERVICE AND GOOD QUALITY PRODUCTS
Disadvantages: WOULD PREFER SEATING WITH BACKS RATHER THAN STOOLS

Whilst on a short break in London last week my family and I were looking for somewhere to eat in the West end and came across HAMBURGER UNION in Garrick Street, Covent Garden. None of us are great fans of burger "joints" but decided that we would give it a try, as from the outside it looked modern and clean and although busy not bursting at the seams as some place are up there. Also it was great to go somewhere "non smoking". On entering it reminded us of restaurants in America, as ,you order everything (food and drinks) at the counter, pay and then proceed into the main eating area and place your order number on the table for the server to see. The seating area was clean and the seating was mainly stool type and tables were of varying sizes so if you were on a long table you could end up with other people. It was bright ...
