Genesis - We Can't Dance
Review of We Can't Dance - Genesis by  JezM

Advantages: Good music, impressive lyrics and very few weaker tracks
Disadvantages: Barely any, depends on your personal preference. I know of none. :-)

...paced song. In fact, the majority of the song is keyboards and drums, with the guitar providing the occasional riff. Phil's voice is just as good as always. A great, upbeat song. - 9/10 3 - Driving the Last Spike - The tempo is reduced just slightly for this, my favourite song of the album. This ten minute marathon tells the story about the builders of the railroad in England. Excellent keyboard work again by Tony, along with Phil's vocals give us an excellent song. The trademark Phil Collins drums come into the sound just over two minutes into the song, followed shortly by some good guitar work by Mike. This is a brilliant song that almost teases you with it's building up and then slowing down, before it really gets going just short of six minutes in. - 10/10 4 - I Can't Dance - The weakest song of the album isn't terrible... Genesis
Review of We Can't Dance - Genesis by  jelfsy16

Advantages: Modern
Disadvantages: none

...Genesis, We can't dance Genesis are a wonderful band, they combine moving songs with the best melodies this side of Japan. This album reinforces the fact that Genesis are, and always will be, one of the greatest bands of the modern era. Released in 1992, I still find myself listening to it now on regular occasions, it's incredible longetivity is a reason to buy it in itself. Track Listing: No son Of Mine, Jesus Knows Me, Driving the last spike, I can't dance, Never a time, Dreaming while you sleep, Tell Me Why, Living Forever, Hold on my heart, Way Of the World, Since I lost you, Fading Lights.... The best from a classic band
Review of We Can't Dance - Genesis by  Excelle

Advantages: Superb tracks, and a wonderful combination of all elements
Disadvantages: None

...To say that an album by an artist is a 'Best Of' when it isn't might sound a little strange. Like I've lost my mind or something. Well, you may well be correct there, but it is my firm belief that 'We Can't Dance' embodies the best tracks Genesis have ever produced. But hold on! We're moving too fast! Let's take a few steps back, sit down with a cup of tea, and take it all it slowly… Genesis are a long-lived band, first founded in 1966 by school leavers Peter Gabriel, Tony Banks, Michael Rutherford and Anthony Phillips, who were joined by drummer Chris Stewart shortly afterwards. The group only became called Genesis in 1967 when fellow school leaver Jonathan King allowed the group to record in his studio, and develop their sound further. They were firmly in the Prog Rock genre at this point, and sounded very much like fellow... Read review
