When Blink 182 split-up many people expected boxcar racer to reunite. However when Tom Delonge announced Angels and Airwaves he also said that it was not another side project, this was his new band.

The long awaited album "We don't need to whisper" by Ex-Blink 182 frontman Tom Delonge's new supergroup Angels & Airwaves, (AvA for short), can be described as experimental-pop-punk. With the usual power chords that people have come to expect from Delonge mixed in with fancy guitar riffs and special effects they create not a new genre, but one which combines the best from numerous ones. All of the songs on the album have a more melodic feel than that of Blink, but there again this is not Blink. Delonge has said numerous times that he wants to get away from the school-boy lyrics about sex and go for something that will make the world think.
This album contains a small diversity of songs that would match the way you are feeling. There is the slightly up-beat opener of "Valkyrie Missile", or the more depressing "A little's enough". There is also their first released single "The Adventure" which is one for your happier moods.
Ava have certainly tried to get their career underway with the album, however there has been alot of speculation amongst tight-trousered kids the world over. They have come to expect something from Delonge which they shouldn't. They all expected just another pop-punk band, especially with a line-up containing members of Blink 182, the Offspring, Boxcar Racer and Rocket From the Crypt, but if they are going to buy this album for that, they will be mildly dissappointed. Instead they will have an album containing a wide variety of experimental songs that will be a top twenty album, if not top ten.
This album will start flying off the shelves when people realise exactly who is in the band, and it is worth the money. If the ticket sales are anything to go by, they sold out London Astoria in 10 minutes.
