This cd is an absolue bargain. I would highly recommend purchasing this as Bad Boy and Puff Daddy are well known for producing good remixes and the series of albums was a very good idea, another money spinning venture but one for the fans who had remixes on b sides of cd singles and recorded off the radio!

Video and single released off the back of the successful part 1. Some say they prefer this version, i actual do and its one of the best tracks on the album
Bad Boy For Life - P Diddy, Busta Rhymes & MOP. A shouty version of the original. Not bad but too much going on lyrically for me, my ears couldnt take it

Special Delivery - G Dep, Ghostface Killah, Keith Murray & Craig Mack. Quite a repetitive tune but a cult favourite. More likely to hear it in the clubs I Need A Girl Part 2 - Ginuwine, Mario Winans, P Diddy & Loon. Video and single released off the back of the successful part 1. Some say they prefer this version, i actual do and its one of the best tracks on the album Bad Boy For Life - P Diddy, Busta Rhymes & MOP. A shouty version of the original. Not bad but too much going on lyrically for me, my ears couldnt take it I Need A Girl Part 1 - Usher, Loon & P Diddy. Great chorus and catchy lyrics from usher, definately one for the ladies but a really popular tune. Unfoolish - Ashanti & Notorious BIG. Loads of radio play this one, mixing Biggies old tune, i think the video got more airplay than the original and another cult classic Dance With Me/Peaches And Cream - 112, Ludacris & Beanie Segal. Great mix with the two best tunes from the 112 album. Great r&b club tracks and more cult classics No More Drama - Mary J Blige. Compared to what has come before on this album, the Mary track falls just short. Its a mid tempo track which is just middle of the road So complete - Cherri Dennis. I can basically repeat the same as above, not really much going on Notorious - Lil Kim, Notorious BIG & P Diddy. Nowhere near the original in my opinion but my brother loves it, mainly for its heavy base line Thats Crazy - Black Rob, Missy Elliott, Snoop Dogg & G Dep. The production doesnt interest you on this one and its a shame because you turn off before Missy and Snoop get involved Woke Up In The Morning - Carl Thomas & Notorious BIG. Not a bad track but its missing something, i dont know what it is. It just plods along really, not really popular with Bad Boy fans You Gets No Love - G Dep & Faith Evans. I was waiting to see a Faith Evans track and its the last one, not too much different from her album version just a rap added really but it didnt need much tampering so a good one to finish on
Probably best for fans of Diddy & the whole bad boy family thing but for the price it is, its definately worth it

Album Notes
Full title: P. Diddy & Bad Boy Records Present: We Invented The Remix. This is an Enhanced CD, which contains both regular audio tracks and multimedia computer files. Compilation producer: Sean "P. Diddy" Combs. P. Diddy, or Puff Daddy, or Sean "Puffy" Combs, depending on how the mood strikes him, didn't get to be one of hip-hop's biggest entrepeneurs by being the shy, retiring type. So one will conceivably take the album title's claim, and the liner notes' spin-doctored bravado, with a sizable grain of salt. Nevertheless, Puffy's skills as a hit-making producer and recording artist can't be called into question. If WE INVENTED THE REMIX was simply an unadorned compilation of past hits on Combs's Bad Boy label it would be impressive enough, but Puffy ups the ante on his pop legacy by updating the tracks with his vaunted remix skills and the addition of guest artists, turning gold into, well, more gold. New cuts by R&B siren Ashanti ("Unfoolish") and the Didster himself (most notably the romantically inclined plea for tenderness "I Need a Girl") show that the man remains a player on the move.
