I have just got to let all you ciao members know of one hellish and extravagant show
Called, we will rock you by QUEEN
This show was staged by Pupils ranging from 10 to 17 years of age.
De-ferrers high school was the venue.
De-Ferrers Specialist Technology College School Burton on Trent.
I had no idea of the content and what this show was all about.
I had vaguely heard rumours of a show being staged at the dominion theatre in London, called we will rock you. By Queen and then i heard the same show was going to be performed at the De Ferrers School.
Nestled in the heart of the midlands, appearing out of nowhere, were these ordinary school children aged between 10 and 16.
Word was out and travelling fast, that something awesome was happening locally. It soon became apparent, and I thought this sounds good.

A little while ago I wrote a review on the soundtrack of this performance, and well, it wasn't what I'd now call "good"! 'So,' I cunningly thought, 'why not review the show itself, now that you have a vague idea what you're doing?' So that's what I'm doing! Enjoy.
The History
I'm sure you've all heard of the massively successful band "Queen", and if not, I'm truly amazed! Well, suffice it to say, they rocked. It would not be a stretch to say that they revolutionised music. The only problem is that this all happened well before my time, and we've been without them for a while now.
After the death of Freddie Mercury from AIDS in 1991, everything sort of fizzled out, and then that was that for a while. Then about 6 years ago, what was left of Queen got together with Ben Elton (TV writer - wrote for "The Young Ones ...
Advantages: Easy access and great value for money. Disadvantages: Food and drink in the theatre were London prices.
It was the first show that I have been to in London and I was really impressed. I bought the tickets from a ticket-discount agency that also supplied a hotel. My wife and I travelled by train to London, arriving at our hotel in Covent Garden late in the afternoon. We travelled to the Tottenham Court Road Underground Station and found that the Dominion Theatre was immediately outside the exit. We collected our tickets from the Box Office and were shown to our seats. The atmosphere in the theatre was electric! The show started on time and lasted 2 hours and 40 minutes with a interval of 20 minutes. The show was absolutely fantastic, whether a Queen fan or not.
