Storm Survivors

Advantages: The best Creed album so far. Very strong lyrically.
Disadvantages: Musically limited. A couple of weak tracks.

The aptly named album, Weathered, as in a “survived and withstood the storm” sense, is the third and still the most recent offering from Florida-based band, Creed. Released in 2001, it came out on the back of a slating by the critics of their first two albums, and of the band in general. However, along with millions of Creed fans, I ignored the critics and having enjoyed their second album Human Clay, happily forked out a tenner and added Weathered to my collection. I’ve now listened to it consistently for a couple of years, and it was definitely a tenner well-spent. It’s not the most original rock album I possess, but for the most part it’s a solid, tight sound that makes me feel good, and the production translates superbly onto my bass-heavy hi-fi settings. Heeding the Creed

Advantages: Amazing animation, authentic-looking presentation
Disadvantages: No variation after the first few hours

"Ubisoft" takes "Prince of Persia" to the next level and introduces Altaïr, a 12th century assassin who is about to find out what the Creed is all about. Whether it's roaming about Jerusalem's rooftops, or impaling knights and then casually blending in with dozens of passers by, "Assassin's Creed" featured plenty of things to get excited about and was one of the most hotly anticipated games of the season. The Story At its core, Assassin's Creed details the exploits of Third Crusade-era assassin Altaïr, fabled to have personally exterminated all of the Knights Templar. Review of Assassin's Creed (PS3)

Their Sacrifice, Our Gain

Advantages: My Sacrifice
Disadvantages: Signs, Their Last Ever Album

track that marks the beginning of the seond half of the album. The tone in it remains very happy through out the song, despite the constant cruch of drums and guitar, which are littered all over the track. Tremonti even gets to have a guitar solo in this track, not the sort of thing usually allowed in Creed songs, which is quite impressive. The ending is also nicely done, with the phrase "stand here with me" repeated as all theinstruments cut out one by one all thats left is Stapp voice repeating the words (which itself ends with his trademark growl). The Song may be flawed, but it's still more than enjoyable 8/10 8) Weathered - 5:32 Weathered has a slight "Souhtern" flavour to it.
