5) I Owe - Fantastic Song, my favourite lyrically on the album. Top tune with great singing from Mase. A bit softer than others, but that for me makes it an even better song.

This is certainly my favourite Mase album. I love all the songs, bar one, unlike many other albums, where there are usually 3 or 4 songs that let down a top album. Here is the list of songs and my opinions: 1) Welcome Back - Fantastic track, great beat with good lyrics, sets the CD up very well 2 Breathe Stretch Shake - Another top track feat. Diddy, with top, humerous lyrics. It has a great beat, making it a very good song. 3) Keep It On - A much softer track with Ciara, very good mix compared to the last track, emphasising what a great variety Mase has. It has very true lyrics, stuff everyone can relate to, which is something I love about Mase. 4) My Harlem Lullaby - Another top track, I thing the music might be taken from something else but not sure, but still top lyrics make it a great song. 5) I Owe - Fantastic Song, my favourite lyrically on the album. Top tune with great singing from Mase. A bit softer than others, but that for me makes it an even better song. 6) Wasting My Time - Not as good as some but still a very good song, good lyrics and beat. 7) Gotta Survive - Another softer song, fantastic beat, very relatable lyrics, probably my favourite song on the album. 8) The Love You Need - Good song, again not as good as some but still good lyrically and good beat. 9) Money Comes And Goes - Very up-beat song, one of my favourites, both lyrically and the beat. 10) I Wanna Go - Love this song as Mase shows what a great singer he is mixing in with a great beat, a top song. Like so many others, has very true lyrics, which for me makes it that much a better song. 11) Into What You Say - Quite heavy compared to the last couple of songs, showing his variety, but is still a top song with good lyrics and beat. 12) Do You Remember - Probably the only let-down on the CD. Disappointing beat but still OK. Shame the album ends on this track.
However, this is one of my favourite albums around and would recommend it to anyone who is into hip-hop.
I bought it for £10 which is certainly value for money, and would say it would be buying for any price up to this and maybe more.
Personnel include: Mase (rap vocals); Rashad, Cardan (vocals); Sean "P.Diddy" Combs (rap vocals); Rick Rock (various instruments). Producers: The Movement; Rick Rock; Tyrice Jones. Recording information: Fo'Reel Studios, Beverly Hills, CA; N'Key, Dayton, Ohio. After years as Puff Daddy's main protege, Mase exploded to the pinnacle of hip-hop success with the multi-platinum albums HARLEM WORLD (1997) and DOUBLE UP (1999). Then, as swiftly as he achieved that fame, he gave it all up, announcing his retirement from the rap game to enter the ministry. While many wrote it off as a passing fancy, he stuck with it for five years, until his desire to make music could apparently be suppressed no longer, and he emerged with his third record, WELCOME BACK. On the title track, Mase reworks a line from the classic WELCOME BACK, KOTTER theme song--"the game has all changed since I've been around"--which is impossible to debate in the ever-changing rap world, but Mase himself hasn't changed. He's still the easy-flowing, affable MC he was before the gospel grabbed him. He can still pin a clever rhyme on a catchy hook, as he does by incorporating Madonna's "La Isla Bonita" on "My Harlem Lullaby," or flex his muscles around a tender ballad as on "I Wanna Go." WELCOME BACK may follow five years of silence, but it sounds as if he never left.
