Following the split of Busted, a band who were at the top of their game i was quite surprised to see James back in action not long after with a brand new squeeky band in tow.
I was really pleased i have to admit, i loved Busted and i was looking forward to more of James' writing style.
I really think that if you liked Busted you'll like this, James again writes most of the songs and if you know Busted you know what thats like. If you don't it's kinda pop/rock, with a hint of humour and laughing at themselves.
If you were more of a fan of Charlie and followed his new band then i doubt you'll like this its very very differant from that style of music.
You really have to be a certina kind of person to like this i think, basically between the ages of 8 and 25 and like that pop factor. Not that I'm saying you HAVE to be in those ages to like it, its just the general feel i get from speaking to people who also liked it and those who didn't. Of course its more popular with the ladies and a lot of teenage boys hate it, its not hardcore rock or heavy metal.
Saying that though i wouldnt recommend it to anyone under 12, due to a swear or two and the lyrics in certain songs that are really for older kids, sex referances and such.
Personally if you have seen the video for Ticket Out of Loserville or heard the song, don't base the album on that because that was really poppy-fied, ther are more hardcore emotions and stuff delt with on the album.
Advantages: None Disadvantages: Same old stuff, no heart in song writing
This band is dreadful, the music is poor to say the least. The band where formed after the split of well known band "Busted", as one band member form band "Fightstar", this twrip decided to form a band very much like "busted". This was for him just a money making exercise, their songs have no thought in to them like "eddies song" tells a made up story of him getting drunk and sleeping with a lot of woman. It is well known that most people who like ... ...so if the story is true it doesn't bare thinking about. This band are trying to pretend they are rock, emo, post hardcore but infact they should know this is just another brand of pop boy band who will soon move down the charts and be forgoten. Sadly for the time being we have to put up with this trash.
Overall don't buy it!!! Thanks for reading. ...

Advantages: Catchy riffs, Energetic pop-punk Disadvantages: Heard it all before
As a big Busted fan, I thought this was the more successful of the trio's new projects. I eagerly anticipated the album months ahead, and was not disappointed. Full of catchy riffs and lyrics, it's a must-have for all pop-punk fans. Son Of Dork's sound is very similar to Busted's earlier one, and is probably what their 3rd album would have sounded like.
More aimed at girls (in my opinion) the songs are all quite catchy and have that "stick-in-your-head" ...
