Welcome To The Cheap Seats (Greatest Hits Live) - Wonder Stuff (The)

Advantages: Great songs, good live feel, varied instrumentation
Disadvantages: Didn't include Dizzy - though they make up for it

...The Wonderstuff to many of you may have been a band who made, as their lead singer Miles Hunt comments on this album, "cartoon pop songs", of which you're probably most familiar with their biggest hits Dizzy (with Vic Reeves and Bob Mortimer), The Size Of a Cow and Welcome To The Cheap Seats. The band are far more than that though, as this live album shows. The band is mainly guitar driven, especially with their earlier post-punk songs. However, there are keyboard, mandolin and violin parts interwoven into the songs at times, and the songwriting ranges from funny and witty to angry and bitter, but always enjoyable. The album is taken from 5 sell-out shows which the band reformed for(having split 6 or so years ago). Advantages: Its phil what more can i say
Disadvantages: nada!

...After lending out my various earlier albums by Phil Collins, to various people and never seeing them again! I purchased this latest hits one on CD (no Im not lending this out to no one!) It has all my favourite tracks on one, its an album not just for us oldies(ok im 29 lol)who remember him, but I know a few younger people who like this too. It has a good mix of songs. A lot are ballads, but there are a few upbeat tunes too. You cant hurry love the old supremes cover, done by phil is excellent, you just have to sing along to it. The two from buster (his acting debut that was excellent!) two hearts and the wonderful groovy kind of love, which was a cover too. Against all odds, seperate lives (with marilyn martin) and one more night are amongst my favourites. But I love each track, there arent any on here i dont like. There isn't anything... Read review

Advantages: All the best songs by the worlds greatest band
Disadvantages: NOTHING! Its GNR

...Well i bought this album a while back and never have it off Guns and Roses are simply the best band of there time they are amazing nothing to complain about in any of there songs. The songs themselves are great they have great lyrics wrote by axel rose himself and the most incredible guitar solos in history from slash (A God Of Rock) These solos piece the song together perfectly they fit perfectly with the style of the song. I recommend this to any rock fan soft rock or hard rock this has music to suit anyone. It will be worth buying, trust me this is a album you can keep for a lifetime.if you dont belive me buy it i can say that you will love it, and as the title says it is the GREATEST Hits you wont find any bad songs in here.
