Advantages: Some good tunes, suitable for anyone any age Disadvantages: Also some poor quality tunes, getting worse each time a new ones out
...on the same two disks.
I could say I am not going to buy the next one but I probably will from impulse buying I can't help myself.
The contents on this album are very varied I'm not sure if that is a good thing as not many people have such a varied in content.
I am not sure how some of these songs made it to Number 1 in the charts as they seem pretty poor quality to me and there is a lot better songs out there at the time.
Quite a few of the artists are still gaining a name for themselves in this country and were ones I had not heard of un-till purchasing Now 69 I think having their singles on this album is a brilliant way to help become recognised.
So why did I buy it?.....
I bought this album to play in the car mainly for on long journeys I have always bought the Now That's What I Call Music albums so I guess I buy them as much out...

Advantages: Great songs, vocals, lyrics, music Disadvantages: Some dodgy recording on a tight budget
...was sort of all right until you told me you'd slept with him"
and later:
"I'm still right next door if you need me
I don't think that I'm strong enough to come and tell you

Fans of the UK underground scene of the early nineties might compare him with "The Levellers" taken down to basics. There are hints of The Pogues, or Aslan. and at times of Irish folk. His eco-friendly lyrics are very though provoking, and overall it is very original. He would seemingly be equally at home playing a Greenpeace rally or Reading Rock.
It's clear that it was recorded on a tight budget; at times the backing vocals are not quite on the right...

Advantages: Wicked dance music! Disadvantages: Songs are a bit long!
...Stonebridge was a producer in the early Noughties and his debut album with Hed Kandi is 'Can't get Enough'. It's a collection of club friendly (yet poppy) music featuring some wicked vocals. 'Put em High' released in 2004 was a club and chart smash and saw the album follow. There's since been the release of 'Take Me Away' and this week sees the brilliant 'Freak On' released! So here's the whole album in full!
Cant Get Enough ft Charlie King
I haven't decided if Charlie King is a man or a woman but nevermind. The vocals on this are very chilled and soulful. The song starts with a simple beat that builds and biulds with some 'yeah's' and 'uhs' before some kind of Urban chant! This song isn't the best dance track ever but its not rubbish it's a grower. But cos its not hard dance it's the perfect first song as it prepares you for whats...
