month of it going multi-platinum, The Times claimed they were more important than the Fabs; and Liam Gallagher was inviting George Harrison to fight him on Primrose Hill. But then, you'd feel cocky enough to pick on a Beatle if you'd just recorded these songs. Obviously the singles--"Wonderwall", "Don't Look Back In Anger", "Some Might Say"--rock; but it's a shocker rediscovering just how ace the album tracks are. The minor-chord that the chorus of "Hey Now!" pivots on could liquefy a brick; "Champagne Supernova" is the sound of a band riding the nose-cone of a rock & roll Concorde, and as for "She's Electric"--ah, well. Every New Beatles must have their "Maxwell's Silver Hammer". --Caitlin Moran

Advantages: A lot of well known classics that long term and new fans will love Disadvantages: some of the songs will be on other albums compiled at a later date.

At the time of this second album lauch they'd been around for little more 3 years and yet it was one of the biggest sellers that year. Look in just about any 20 - 40 year old's C.D. collection and you're sure to come across this remarkable collection of timeless modern pop/rock anthams. It features 10 Noel Gallagher originals including the number one hit "some ... ...classics such as "Wonder wall", "Roll with it" and "Hey now". And of course the now infamous "Champagne Supernova".
When compared to the band's first album, "Definately Maybe" you can see just how much the band developed yet kept the same brit pop/rock n roll tradition in place to create this irrisistable collection of music. ...

Advantages: Some of their greatest hits all on one disc Disadvantages: None
...As far as I'm concerned Oasis' best album to date. Oasis are made up of Liam and Noel Gallacher (brothers), Gem Archer and Andy Bell. They provide a BritPop/Rock genre of music and have been active since 1991.
It was this album that first got me into Oasis, hearing it in my Dads car around ten years ago. It contains many of their best ever hits, including Wonderwall (Reached no. 2), Don't Look Back In Anger (Reached no. 1) and Champagne Supernova. Wonderwall is a very well known song, having been played on many adverts, films and TV shows over the years, since the album was released in 1995.
The album sold 347,000 copies in its first week, and over 20,000,000 worldwide to the present day. In 1997, it was named 5th greatest album ever in the "Music of the Millenium" poll, with 4 singles released in the UK, all reached at least...

Advantages: A band at their peak Disadvantages: a couple of weak songs
...What’s the storymorningglory by oasis is without arguments one of the albums of the nineties this is the sound of a band realising their potential and fulfilling it. At their peak they were the biggest band around, with a mixture of the Arrogance and great lyrics they were the ultimate rock ’n’ roll band. The best tracks on this album are Don’t look back in anger, What’s the story (morningglory), and personal favourite She’s electric. Just because of the way the lyrics rhyme in every sentence but the song still works. This album is a must for all rock and indie lovers....

...Oasis, (What's the story) MorningGlory?
Oasis' second studio album, (What's the story) MorningGlory?, is in my opinion an improvement on the poor Definitely Maybe. It contains in total 12 tracks, although two of these are nameless and can't really be classed as songs in themselves. Despite this, it is a wonderful album, and every track is great. I am not a fan of Oasis, but this album ids a must have for anyone. Track Listing: Hello, Roll With It, Wonderwall, Don't Look Back In Anger, Hey Now!, Medley1, Some might Say, Cast No Shadow, She's Electric, MorningGlory, Medley2, Champagne Supernova....
