This is the comeback album for the 'Lighthouse Family'

I bought their last album, 'Postcards From Heaven' and was very impressed, my taste in music has since changed a little but I did give into temptation and go buy this album, here is what I think of it:

1. Run
An interesting introduction to the album and the bands latest single, its the second release off this CD and is sure to be as big as the last track. This song is beaty as well as very catchy. You might also find it quite a smooth track like I do. The lyrics explain about running away with someone and is quite touching, the song is brought to a good faded end. This track is certainly 9/10

2. Happy
After the intro to the album with the bands current single, we have a little faster track, Happy is believe it or not a cheerful and 'HAPPY' song and is great to listen to.

3. Free
This was the comeback single for the Lighthouse family and a great comeback at that! This was released at the end of last year and did very well indeed. FREE was also known as, 'I wish I knew how it would feel to be free' (longer name) I'm sure many of you have heard the track itself. As you can imagine the lyrics relate to being FREE and the tune itself is quite beaty as well as catchy, pure lighthouse family style. 9/10

4. End Of The Sky
A calm, relaxing and nice song

5. Lifes A Dream
This track title may seem to look a little simalar to a 'Westlife' track maybe.............
The song itself is calming, a little different to add interest to the album and also quite a long track which I tend to notice.

6. Its A Beautiful Day
After a rather compacted introduction to the album, this song seems to slow things down a bit, a rather calmer song this one, maybe less interesting but an average OK track, still Lighthouse family style so an enjoyable tune to listen and hum along to. 6/10

7. Your A Star
A track which is rather uplifting, gets you up when you are seeming to feel down, an interesting track, again an average, OK tune. 7/10

8. You Always Want What You Haven't Got
A rather long title comes with this one! This song is rather compacted and full of lyrics, also rather sad and depressing so you may need to be in the mood to listen to this! Although, again an OK track which is listenable. 6/10

9. Wish
Back to the more beaty stuff, or at least as beaty as the lighthouse family gets! A little more uplifting, full of courage and an interesting tune to listen to and enjoy. 7/10

10. Whatever Get's You Through The Day
As you can see this is where the album got its name from! I think the name of this track, if not the tune itself sums up the album as a whole. ~Keep your head high and do whatever it takes.

The tune itself is as you can probably imagine is all about keeping hope and has a good rythem to go with it. This track may not be the best on the CD but is maybe the most important. 8/10

11. Wish (downtempo version)
With the SPECIAL EDITION CD you recieve this bonus track on the same CD. Basically the same as the original but a little more interesting, although nothing special! 8/10

Overall this album is a comeback for the huge Lighthouse family, there is a lot of music out there at the moment, we now have more garage, RnB, rap and so on but if you're up for this kind of music, go get this, its worth a buy. OR if you are just like me and give into this kind of music even though you aren't really into it much anymore, you may still be interested!
