If like me you were impressed with the Teenage Dirtbag track which has been hanging about in the charts - you may have been tempted to take things further and get the album.
Well I was certainly interested enough to part with my cash. What do you get for your money? The result is somewhat hard to explain.
The album consists of 10 tracks - and the overall impression has to be that the album was put together in somewhat of a hurry. None of the tracks seem to have the same feel as Teanage Dirtbag - although the same kind of theme has been repeated in most of them.
Teenage Dirtbag's main apeal was that it was different - After 10 tracks along similar (though not as good) lines - you are left asking is that it?
Don't get me wrong Wheatus have shown promise in this album - the problem being that they are not yet the finished article, they need to give something else or they will soon fade away.
Look out for this album in the bargain buy one get one free section later on in the year.
