Over the years the musical press have formed bands in many ways however Seafood formed due to an advert in Loot freeads for a flat. The lead singer David Line and guitarist Charles Macleod needed a couple of flat mates, along with a female bass player and a drummer. Instead they got the opposite, a female drummer (Caroline) and male Bass player (Kevin). So the band was formed and the room filled ... ...hadn‘t finished writing the album when they touched down in New York. The first listen of this album shows a progression from Surviving The Quiet, which the band seem to benefit from. I did find however that it wasn’t an album I instantly loved. There are certain tracks that hit you straight away while the rest grow on you the more you listen to it.
