Another criticism of the older iPod's was their battery life, but the 160gb iPod has a quoted battery life of 40 hours (I have found this to be around 25 hours in real life use) but this can vary depending on how the iPod is used, I.E. skipping tracks, listening at high volume, I have found the battery on the 160gb iPod to be light years ahead of the old iPod which had a habit of been on half power then not long after it would have dropped significantly, but the 160gb iPod does not suffer from this problem. These give you live updates of stocks and weather from Yahoo! Nothing special really... just something nice to have around every now and then.
iTunes:
The wifi (doesn't work when connected to EDGE) music store gives you access to hundreds of millions of songs available on iTunes. You can preview a song, buy songs and cash in gift cards using this app. When you have purchased a song it is automatically downloaded to the song and then those songs are uploaded to your iTunes library when you next sync the phone. I have used this on a few occasions and it was worked perfectly.

Advantages: Too many! Disadvantages: Cannot forward messages (although I believe the new version can do this).
I received this phone as an upgrade recently, and have been very impressed so far. I find it very easy touse, I'm no technophobe, but am not very computer literate either. The phone arrived without any instructions, but these are available (as directed) via the apple website. The phone has so many features, and enables the user to condense so much information, without the need for diaries, address books, organisers and even ipod. It comes with a charger which is also handy if you have a separate ipod, without having touse a usb lead for charging. There are updates available when logging onto itunes, as with an ipod. I am loathed to be without it wherever I go, and honestly cannot believe how easy it is touse, there are no detailed menu drop downs, like most phones nowadays, everything is at your fingertips.
