...bit more up tempo with a lovely piano break in the middle. House of cards - A song about what goes on behind closed doors in what appears to be a happy family. The title describing the fragility of family life and all not appearing as it seems. Lyrics read "On the surface it looked so safe/But it was perilous underneath". Stones in the Road - the title song tells of how life used to be and how different it is now in modern times with a beautiful melody. A Keeper for every flame - A toe-tapper of a song about being guarded and not giving all of yourself to a relationship "Sometimes its a fire burning out of control/Sometimes its a candle burning long and low" Tender when I want to be - a song about finding the right person Trisha Yearwood contributes on background vocals. Advantages: Catchy tunes, superb instrumental style, great narrative
Disadvantages: DVD-Audio format restricts transfer to MP3 players

...Difficult Kind' and 'Mississippi'. Overall, the quality is much, much better, and will compliment any sound system setup. The only drawback about DVD-Audio format is its copy protection. This basically means that if you want to rip songs to your computer, or convert into mp3 format for Audio player playback, you will be disappointed. Manufacturers are basically saying 'we give you better quality, use it legally.'. While this may be understandable, it is quite a drawback for fans that want to carry high-quality material with them at all times. In 2005, software developers created a way to decrypt the protection, but this does involve patching your media players illegally - don't be naughty... It's up to you if you consider buying the standard CD-Audio, which is perfectly good quality in it's own right. Another slight drawback about... Read review

Advantages: Wonderful songwriting from one of the best around
Disadvantages: Not as good as some previous work due to a couple of weaker songs

...Not surprisingly, a waltz. A nice tune that is a different style of music for the album, and so is quite a refreshing track. Some more interesting instrumentation including instruments like the banjo, recorder and accordian as well as the more common piano and violin. Some good lyrics, and generally a good song! "So I'm tearing up these tarot cards and Venetian clowns, antique shops and alcoholic homosexuals". 7)This Love Affair A nice song. Quite sad as the songs in a minor key. A song with true beauty that could bring a tear to your eye. Again, more interesting instruments such as the clarinet, bassoon, oboe, and a variety of strings. An extremely beautiful song that is one of the most upsetting on the album, with some wonderful lyrics. "I guess that I am walking. Where? I don't know.
