The WhiteCliffs of Dover are one of those archetypal, iconic images of Britain: and rightly so, as Dover has been a place of comings and goings for time immemorial (Romans contemplated landing here, but decided against it; Lancelot travelled form here onto his exile, and millions of hopeful immigrants and thirsty day-shoppers leave and arrive via Dover every day).
I have to confess to having a bit of a thing for cliffs. I grew up on a coast, but it was the Baltic coats of Poland, of which the vast majority is sandy beach, and the cliffs - as few and far between as they are - are earth cliffs. So a proper rocky shore has always held a fascination for me: it started with the Sussex coast, Beachy Head and Seven Sisters when we lived in Brighton, and during over two years in Dover I fell in love with the WhiteCliffs.

Isobel is engaged to be married. She has a good job and close family and friends, but her wedding plans seem to take over her whole life. Her fiance feels suffocated, so when he suggests they postpone the wedding she feels a bit embarrassed to face people as the wedding has been her main topic of conversation for months. As you will have become aware from some of my previous reviews I am not really one for trawling the high street looking for clothing items. I prefer the convenience of buying most of my items online, However on occasion we all unfortunately have to do this at some point. I had been invited to a party so thought that it was about time I invested in a new dress!! Well living and working in Glasgow the only place for me to shop has to be the Buchanan Galleries. Fortunately I always go very early in the morning to try and avoid the crowds and for the most part tend to be able to experience a good couple of hours hastle free shopping and can actually try items on quickly instead of having to wait in huge long queues. The beauty of the "galleries"as they are known locally is that they have a wide range and variety of shops under one roof ...
If you can get into Enya, then this is in my opinion the best of her 5 albums and is a very passionate and romantic album, which is great with a glass of wine, candles, nice food, an open fire, followed by...........
