Advantages: Very very very best movie very goodddddddd Disadvantages: It's a LIE
This is a perfect movie of a DJ who looses his hearing. Directed by Michael Dowse. The main actor is Paul Kaye as Frankie Wilde.
This is based on a true story, that writes, everyone is thinking that. BUT it's not true. Actually Frankie Wilde never existed. Theres no real story there's no DJ who lost his hearing. Think why is the name It's allgone.... WRONG! The real name had to be it's allgone wrong. All the DJs are included in this big planet lie starting with Pete Tong.
After I saw the movie, I thought also that this is true. Since on youtube I searched the track Frankie Wilde - Rise again, and there I saw the comments how they are fighting he existed or not. I decided to buy some beers and go for it, I was very but VERY interested, and BANG.
Loads of web sites write that Frankie Wilde existed, loads that he didn't. Now how would ...
Advantages: Brilliant electronic music Disadvantages: quite strange
Rephlexions (variousartists) is the next installment of compilation albums on the Rephlex record label. It features another set of tracks by the key players on the label and is equally as good as the first compilation (Braindance (variousartists)) The sounds are spaced out emotional and very original explorations of electronia. The CD kicks off with some mellow keys on which glitchy drum and bass future breaks are laid on top. The second tracks goes straight into a gentle industrial clanking atmosphere where a glimmering machine sits in a castle basement, blue light floods through the window in the middle of the night, the machine gets more energy as the track progresses. All the tracks seem to have concepts behind them waiting to be discovered. I especially like track 14 'It aint perfect till its perfect' by LIKE-A-TIM, which sounds ...
, a more apt title would be hard to find. The film is a sort of mockumentry, in that, what "This is Spinal Tap" is to Heavy Metal and "All You Need is Cash" is to The Beatles, this was to be for the Ibiza scene. There haven't been many films based in the dance scene, "24 Hour Party People", "Human Traffic", "Kevin and Perry Go Large" and it would have been nice if this film had filled the void, unfortunately that is the job for a film yet to come.
Paul Kaye plays Frankie Wilde, an Ibiza DJ who has managed to achieve a level of God like status amongst the Mediterranean party people. He wants for nothing in his indulgent lifestyle. Girls, alcohol and drugs all fall at his feet with the minimum of effort. He has it made but is slowly partying himself to death with the excesses of his lifestyle. This degeneration of his health first occurs due to ...
