Hi:
'Rubber Soul' was one of the two 1965's albums, the first one was 'Help'. The name of the album was decided during the recording sessions od 'Can't buy me love', not included in this album. The thing is that Paul McCartney was saying 'plastic soul, man, plastic soul' in every break of this recording session. This 'plastic soul' was the way black singers used to call The Rolling Stones, because they used to sing in this black soul way. So, Lennon said: "well, if the Stones are 'plastic soul, we'll be 'rubber soul'". And that's the story of the name of the album.
The cover's got another interesting story. They were having a photograph session with their usual photographer at Lennon's garden. This man made some mistake with the focus, so the photographs happened to be unfocus, and a bit deformed. But the bealtes liked it ...
Advantages: The usual suspense, and the twists and turns Disadvantages: It is good , but it is not her best
There is a tide in the affairs of men,
Which, taken at the flood, leads on to fortune:
Omitted, all the voyage of their life
Is bound in shallows and in miseries...

Agatha Christie is at her best while describing the English way of life....This is yet another early and interesting Hercule poirot mystery written by Agatha Christie. The story is set in a typical English village with all the humor and descriptions of everyday English village life..
THE STORY
It begins with a lot of promise with these opening paragraphs..
" In every club, there is a club bore, the Coronation club was no exception....Major Porter, Late Indian army rustled his newspaper
and cleared his throat, and everyone avoided his eye, but no use..."
Regardless ,he went on...." I see they've got the announcement ...
