Advantages: A wide variety of tunes Disadvantages: Too short
...I’m a big fan of the film, so when I saw the Soundtrack on offer, I decided to buy it.
When the film was released in 1992 it caused a storm with its extreme violence. The soundtrack on the other hand doesn't seem to mirror any of that.
The cover shows the film cast with blood splashed in the background, yet the CD is made up of uplifting 70's songs. Some of them now famous and well known because of the film.
It's become common to include little snippets from the film between songs, and this soundtrack is no different. Some are main lines from the film and others are the monotone DJ from the film playing ‘K-Billy’s Super Sounds Of The Seventies’.
The tracks are as follows:
1. Little Green Bag – performed by George Baker Selection- Anyone who knows the film will know this song. It’s the one that’s played during...

Advantages: The title track Disadvantages: Most of the album
...He stares out at you from the nightmarish cover of Diamond Dogs with that sinister, wide eyed look and Ziggy trim still firmly in place, a combination of vampish man-woman-canine, promising all sorts of sexual weirdness, with strong drugs definitely on the agenda.

Of course this meant that David Bowie was even more entrenched in its...

Advantages: can listen to it loud when your parents are home Disadvantages: please do I have to spell it out to you
...If you love Radio 2 then this is the album for you! (and don't read on).
Can you imagine my disgust when looking at Glastonburys (Britains premier music festival) playlist and finding there in bold "headlining the festival" text... Travis, on the strength of this album.
This album, this band, defining our times with such gratuitous mediocrecy.
I feel so agrieved to be part of the missing generation who choose music which their parents would nick from their bedrooms instead of repelling in disgust at its very mention.
Sorry this is not a very constuctive opinion but I just had to get it off my chest.
Let me see, how can I convey to you,the tediousness of this album?.....
How about;
The songs all sound the same,
The songs all sound the same,
The songs all sound...
