Moz puts the M in Manchester... MMM! :-)

Advantages: fantastic show! plus a couple of extras
Disadvantages: none really.

a bunch of flowers at him, which he catches perfectly and throws back into the audience. His backing band (who he introduces humorously to the audience later in the show) also do a little of this: drummer Deano finishes the show by throwing 4 drumsticks and frisbee-flinging 2 drumskins into the crowd, while his keyboardist (and occasional trumpeter) drops a setlist into the first row at the end. Talking of flowers, those famous bunches of gladioli are missing here, but the big M does start the show with a (slightly suggestive-looking!) thistle hanging from his trousers (which gets lost after a few songs). The show gets better and better as it goes along - Moz gets into his stride, participating more and more with his fans, who struggle against the security guards to crowdsurf to the front and shake hands with their idol. (The security ...

Who's in your bag?

Advantages: great family game
Disadvantages: none

So how would you describe David Beckham if you couldn't say his name? The former England football captain? He's married to Victoria? He's gorgeous? Well I guess it all depends on what you know about something and what you think about them, but that's what 'Who's in the Bag' is all about. The aim is to describe all the people who are in the bag (and there are many) without actually saying their names! If you've ever watched They Think It's all Over, it's very much like the final round on that but not just restricted to sportsmen! Let me explain a little bit more. The game comprises of a rather lush looking deep blue drawstring bag. Actually, I have to keep this well away from my four year old daughter because she can often be seen eying it up as an accessory for her dressing up clothes! There is also a timer which I think is for about ...

All In One Piece - Really?

Advantages: Fun to read humorous story with an element of real life to it!
Disadvantages: None

All In One Piece by Jill Murphy *I thought that I would review this children's book, as a tribute to all those parents who understand just how difficult it is, to get ready for a rare night out.* ***What's it all about?*** Well, this is another in a series of books about the Large family - a family of elephants and the evening when Mr and Mrs. Large get to venture out, to the office-dinner dance. Of course the children can't go and so grandma comes to babysit. Granny arrives at tea time and the children are bathed and ready for bed. Granny lets them do some painting, whilst mum and dad go upstairs to get ready in peace. However? Luke watches his dad shaving and ends up getting the foam on his trunk. Dad tells him to go away. Whilst Mrs. Large is concentrating on doing her hair and make up, she doesn't see baby ...
