I know who the arctics are!
Advantages: Mind blowing lyrics. Disadvantages: Hard for them to live up to first album

There are people who claim that this is just a slapdash EP put together simply to take advantage of the Monkeys' sudden popularity that has come of the first album, but i think it works. This album shows the increased maturity of the foursome not olny in their playing but also Turner's ability to write mindblowing lyrics.

There are people who claim that this is just a slapdash EP put together simply to take advantage of the Monkeys' sudden popularity that has come of the first album, but i think it works. This album shows the increased maturity of the foursome not olny in their playing but also Turner's ability to write mindblowing lyrics. The opener; "The View from The Afternoon" fits in and works in this album just as well as it did in "W.P.S.I.A.T.W.I.N." The other songs on the EP are written with a dirty/grimy feel that really works for the Monkeys and gives the feeling that the Arctics are really in touch with their audience.
