In this their follow up to the chart topping "Whatever people say I am thats what I'm Not" They sing about fame and the lifestyle that it brings. There are people who claim that this is just a slapdash EP put together simply to take advantage of the Monkeys' sudden popularity that has come of the first album, but i think it works. This album shows the increased maturity of the foursome not olny in their playing but also Turner's ability to write mindblowing lyrics. The opener; "The View from The Afternoon" fits in and works in this album just as well as it did in "W.P.S.I.A.T.W.I.N." The other songs on the EP are written with a dirty/grimy feel that really works for the Monkeys and gives the feeling that the Arctics are really in touch with their audience.
