So you've sat avidly in front of the television screaming at the contestants ofWho Wants ... more
To Be AMillionaire?Of course, with you sitting comfortable at home with your cup of tea in hand, the pressure isn't as great, and of course you've already proved to yourself that you could have won the million pounds months ago, well now is your chance, forWho Wants To Be A Millionaire?has now come to that beige box in the corner of the room. With all the fanfare, Chris Tarrant's voiceover and a plethora of questions to challenge you, it's the chance any avid quiz expert has been looking for to final put their critics to rest.Dotting all the i's and crossing all the t's, the game is an exact replica of the television show. And yes before you ask, Chris Tarrant does make sure that "It is your final answer" and that you "are sure" you've made the right choice. As in the TV game show you have the option to ask the audience, phone a friend and play the 50:50 cards, and just like the real McCoy, the audience do get it wrong and your friends don't have a clue. With multiplayer options allowing you to practice the fastest finger, head to head competition and teamwork, this game will allow you to drag the whole family into the game.Surprisingly challenging and pressure building--you can't skip the video sequences, nor Chris Tarrant's voiceovers--this game is great if you have any inclination towards the quiz genre. If you are a hardened fan of the television series then this however, will be more than your cup of tea, allowing you to finally take the seat and try and become a virtual millionaire.

Advantages: er, it's been on the telly, I suppose Disadvantages: utter rubbish
Before I even played this game I suspected it would be rubbish. As it turns out, I was right. Now we all know that right is a pleasant thing to be, but in this case my self-congratulation was somewhat befouled by the misery of having toplay an extremely badly-thought out and boring game. Okay, pehaps misery is too strong a word. Prolongued unhappiness is perhaps the more accurate, if slightly less elegant, term. But I'm babbling. Here, for your delectation, are all the things wrong with this utter cowpat of a game:
Firstly, let me state the obvious. WhoWantsto Be a Millionaire? does not come with a million pounds in the box. I don't expect you thought it did. In fact, WhoWantsto Be a Millionaire? doesn't come with any money in the box. Not a penny. What it comes with instead is a huge wad of pretend money, which I'm pretty sure ...
Advantages: VERY similar to TV show Disadvantages: repetative
supports MultiPlayer. This includes players competing against each other in the 'Fastest Finger ' round, popular on the TV show itself.
If you are not familiar with the rules of WhoWantsto Be A Millionaire, there is an on disc tutorial, where Chris Tarrant guides you through the rules of the game
OVERALL OPINION
Although the game is good, there is a few things which I feel ruins the gameplay. Firstly, the music is looped, and repeats over and over again, fades, then begins again, which, if you are really stumped over a question, can become really irritating. Another thing which, for me, personally ruins the gameplay, is exactly how the questions seem limited, and the more you play the game, less skill is needed, and the questions themselves repeat each other, taking away the feeling of the gameshow. These are the only 2 flaws ...
Advantages: lots of different questions Disadvantages: BORING
WhoWantsTo Be A Millionaire? me of course, I just dream about all the money and what I would spend it on….seriously down to business, WhoWantsTo Be A Millionaire for the play station.
I have had good reviews about this from friends so decided to try it myself.
The game play allows you or up to 4 of you battle it out to win a million!
You can play single or as a team or head to head.
The format is the same as the television show and yes it has also the drawn out blurb from Chris Tarrant included.
You get the questions in the same format as the television programme and you also get the same three lifelines
50/50
Ask the Audience
Phone a friend
This lacks in appeal, as all the time you are playing you are shown the virtual studio with empty chairs and no audience and not even Chris Tarrant although this last one ...
