I am a long time UB40 fan, I have many albums and have been to several concerts. I like them as they are different, their songs are uplifting and different to the usual poppy love mush or techno garble. Ali Campbell has an amazing voice. The band are musically talented. I got this album as soon as I could!
It is the sort of album where you like one or two on first listen and are soon addicted to most. Ali Campbell is lead vocalist on most of the tracks, but there is some input from other band members and guests. I also believe at least one track (12) is a cover. ALL the songs on this album are pretty darn good. Musically it is a fine album. Here are the tracks-my views in capitals.
1. Who You Fighting For - VERY GOOD SINGLE RELEASE 2. After Tonight -NICE SONG 3. Bling Bling - CATCHY AFTER A FEW LISTENS 4. Plenty More - I LIKE THIS ONE, POLITICAL MESSAGE 5. War Poem - MY FAVOURITE, GREAT MELODY/LYRICS 6. Sins Of The Fathers -REALLY GOOD CATCHY TUNE 7. Good Situation -ABIT CHEESY BUT OK 8. Gotta Tell Someone -GROWS ON YOU-UPBEAT 9. Reasons -HATED IT AT FIRST BUT GREW ON ME 10. One Woman Man -FAB TUNE 11. I'll Be On My Way -REALLY GOOD TUNE 12. Kiss & Say Goodbye -NICE LOVE SONG 13. Things You Say You Love -NICE AND ORCHESTRAL BACKING ADDS TO IT.
I am very happy with this album. If you are a UB40/Ali Campbell fan you will love it. If you like some of UB40's hits you will love it too.

Went to one of their gigs many moons ago and not heard any of their stuff for years, something else to add to my ever growing CD list. x x

Some good info here but more in-depth review needed for higher rating. More info on songs, band history, price of cd etc would be helpful. Please let me know if you edit and i will happily re-rate. Lesley x
