I am at Sheffield Hallam University studying Criminology and Psychology BA. I like reading books, my fave author is Jean M. Auel and, I enjoy music, especially artists such as Tori Amos & Kate Bush.

I absolutely love this album, basically because it has all the songs I love.
Kate Bush has not made music for a long time. Recent news tells of her planning to bring out another album in the near future (I hope!) Shes known to be a perfectionist so she is probably working really hard. She also has a family to cater for as well so perhaps we won't hear from her in years to come. I don't know much about the life of Kate Bush yet as this is only the beginning of my escapades along Kate Bush territory but I know this much... She makes great music and has great talent.
I first heard Kate Bush singing on Top of The Pops 2 once upon a time and she was singing 'Hounds of Love.' I was so amazed by this wonderful voice and especially by this wonderful song which was so outstanding it stuck in my mind for ages. The way the drums were played really put some feeling into this song. In the end I had to get this song.
From here on it was Kate Bush fever.
I had heard Kate Bush before when I was younger. The song was 'Babooshka' (also on TOTP2) but I was too stupid to realise that this artist was to be one of my idols in the near future. To tell you the truth the song wasn't one of my favourites but now I'm glad to say that I have listened to it and appreciate it a great deal. I suppose I wasn't so much into that kind of music in those days!
I would recommend this album to anyone who is a new Kate Bush fan and is curious to know what she sounds like. This wasn't the first album I purchased as I hadn't heard of it yet. I got 'Hounds of Love,' 'The Red Shoes,' and 'The Kick Inside' first (Other albums of hers.)
The album consists of 12 songs:

There is a 13th song called the 'Big Sky' and is not featured on this album but on the video 'The Whole Story.'
The album is a basic wrap up of Kate's latest releases into the charts. As you can see from my chosen quotes she is very lyrically talented.
Wuthering heights being one of my favourites. No surprise that it hit number 1 in the charts. It was so hauntingly enchanting and beautiful. One of the best songs Kate has ever produced.
Another one of my favourites is 'The Man With The Child In His Eyes.' Its a very calm song moving song.
Yet again as the years kept on rolling so did Kate's songs. Needless to say I have another favourite song and that is 'Wow.' Kate's voice is the most supreme I have ever heard and am so glad I had the curiosity in me to find her!!
Well, I could go on saying how every song is my favourite and describe them in detail but that would take too long and I'm sure you have already read previous reviews which are very good on praising Kate's efforts and doing her utmost to please her fans.
If you are new to Kate Bush then I highly recommend this album. You will find it easy to listen to. You might even like it that much as to buy her other wonderful albums if you haven't already got any. Another recommendation is to purchase the video 'The Whole Story' it only cost me £5.99 from HMV and that is not a bad price.

Advantages: Lyrics and orchestration are absolutely fantastic. They are also open to individual interpretation. Disadvantages: It would be nice if it was a little longer
